Day 2’s challenge is quite different. Today we will practice mindfulness by eating a raisin!
For this activity, you will need 3 minutes and a box of raisins (or another dried fruit). Bringing our total awareness to one thing at a time helps us to fully experience the moment, or in this case the raisin. Instead of scarfing down a handful of raisins, we stop to notice what it looks like, how it smells, how it feels in your hands, on your tongue, what it tastes like, any anything else you may observe about the raisin. It is also fun to do this exercise with a food you really enjoy, like a piece of chocolate or grapes!
