Day 8 – Hand Mindfulness Exercise

When I began practicing mindfulness, I found it fairly difficult to “look inwards.” The idea of being alone – and quiet – with my thoughts and emotions was pretty scary.   It was helpful for me to start with some mindfulness exercises that focused on things outside of me. The Hand Mindfulness Exercise below does just that, and is great because, well, we always have our hands with us! You can do anything mindfully, the possibilities are endless! The most important thing is to be effective and find out what works for you.
