Day 4- Mindful Movements

In this video, Thich Nhat Hanh takes us through a few simple movements. As you follow along, experience your body and your breath- what sensations do you experience? Tingling, burning, space, itching? When your mind wanders, which it will, just return to the video, to your breath, and to the sensations in your body. Nhat Hanh also highlights that we can be mindful of anything we choose, and we can be mindful of everything we experience: “The object of your mindfulness can be anything. You can look at the sky, you breathe in, and you say ‘breathing in I am aware of the blue sky’ so you are mindful of the blue sky. So the blue sky becomes the object of your mindfulness.”
